Mindful Living: Emotional Elegance

6 Week Course

Each year I present a series that we call Emotional Elegance. Emotional elegance is shorthand for learning how to not to have anger, anxiety, guilt and depression. The process of cultivating emotional elegance begins with taking complete responsibility for the way one feels - meaning not blaming others for your life. Practical skills that have evolved from the Buddhist traditions will be offered with pragmatic and easy to assimilate teachings on bringing an end to destructive emotions through mindfulness meditation and highly effective cognitive behavioral techniques that have been studied and researched for their efficacy.

Each week we will work on one destructive emotion and provide the exact tools, teachings and understandings to heal, free your mind of this emotion and to experience greater happiness and well being.

Here are some of the many questions we will answer:

*Why do seemingly caring, rational, intelligent people lose themselves to destructive emotions?"

*What are the root causes of destructive behavior?"

*How can we control emotions like anger, anxiety, guilt and depression that drive these impulses?"

*Can we learn to live at peace with ourselves and others?"

*Can we bring peace and awareness to our interpersonal relationships and heal the wounds caused by excessive anger and anxiety?"

*How can we transform our emotions to become a path of empowerment and fuel for inner awakening?"

*Can we develop patience in the face of anger, peace in uncertainty, happiness when faced with challenges and compassion in our suffering?"

By signing up for this series you will access all 6 video teachings, that will be offered live and then uploaded to our online learning page.

We recommend working with one emotion per week and following the recommendations for daily exercises.
