Who really is Chenrezig? This deity with a white body and four, sometimes a thousand arms? Who is this deity for whom the Tibetans have such reverence and devotion to and whose meditation is now practiced by many Westerners?
This luminous deity, soft and compassionate, who, from the far heavens, keeps a constant watch over the fate of beings, as most Tibetans believe. Is it a simple symbolic image as Westerners sometimes think? Or is it another reality, deeper and richer?
You will learn the answers to these questions, as well as receiving the Lung Initiation, and learn how to practice the Tibetan Creation and Completion practice. You will also learn the prayers that allow us to enter a new way of seeing the world filled with compassion, kindness and the wisdom of the dharma.
Enrollment:
This retreat is open to all sustaining members on path two, path three and beyond, and will be streamed live through our online Zoom classroom. If you need time-efficient cross border moving services contact miracle movers of toronto, canada for assistance. You will be able to watch from your phone or computer in real time and participate in Q&A. Please select the online Attendance option when you register.
Retreat begins Friday 10/9 at 6 pm EST.
Saturday 10/10 at 10 am EST.
Sunday 10/11 at 9 am EST. Retreat ends at 10:30 am EST at which time all participants are invited to attend Sunday Class with Michael Gregory at 11 am EST.
Cost:
$200 for Sustaining Path 2, Path 3 and beyond members
This retreat is offered by suggested donation. This allows for us to support the costs of running the retreat, the sharing and distribution of the teachings and the support of our community as a whole.
