Page Brown gained a passing awareness of Buddhism in the late sixties at college and during his years of military service in Viet Nam.
In the beginning of the 90’s he became an active participant in the New Hampshire chapter of the British based Friends of the Western Buddhist Order and studied extensively the various Buddhist traditions. During this period he was also a trial lawyer. He continued with the F.W.B.O. until moving with his wife to Venice, Florida where he first participated in weekends led by Michael Gregory.
Since attending a Summit Dharma Center 30-day silent retreat in Thailand, he continues a daily meditation practice with weekly meetings and frequent retreat weekends at the Sarasota Buddhist Community.
