Please come join us for the Foundational Series:  Four Noble Truths

Location:  Lord of the Mountains. The address is 56 U.S. Highway 6. It is "across from the entrance to Dillon" or on the NE corner of the intersection of U.S. Highway 6 and Lake Dillon Drive

Our very nature as human beings is to want to be happy.  But as we encounter others with the same quest, we often create the opposite of happiness - for them and for ourselves.  When it is recognized that all beings are equal in both their desire for happiness and their right to obtain it, you automatically feel empathy and closeness for them.

The foundation for all mindfulness is based on the Four Noble Truths: the truths of stress and suffering, of the origination of stress and suffering, of the cessation of stress and suffering and the way leading to the cessation of stress and suffering.  The teachings presented on mindfulness are extremely practical and answer the question of “what does this have to do with me”?  This will be the theme underlying the experiential practice sessions offered during the evening discussion and practice.

Series is based on the book: The Beginner’s Guide to Walking the Buddha’s Eightfold Path  by Jean Smith
