Daily Schedule

Our intention is to provide a practice space where you can learn to live mindfully, with intentional activities throughout your day. To support this, we offer three levels, each with their own schedules and codes of conduct. When you arrive, we will consult with you as to your experience and goals to place you in the program that best suits you so that you can have the best conditions for a fruitive retreat.

Guests with any sense of nervousness about the length of the sitting schedule are especially encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity presented to deepen their practice. In the end, your practice is a voluntary endeavor and there is no judgment from anyone here about your efforts sailing-latvia. We support you in deepening your connection with your own being.

Center Policies

During your visit, we request that you maintain noble silence, speaking only as necessary. Examples: “Where is the restroom..." or "I need some soap." Your meditation and yoga teachers will speak, and you can ask questions or respond during these times. Private meditation interviews are held twice a week and are strongly advised to help keep your practice on track. When you first arrive, you will be given meditation instructions and have a chance to get orientated and ask questions. We suggest you take a lighter schedule on your first day to allow for some settling in.

We also request that you adhere to five rules to allow your mind to become calm and be in a stable state conducive to familiarization & meditation:

  1. Don't lie about anything – try to be honest.
  2. Don't kill anything – try to respect life.
  3. Don't steal anything – take only what is offered.
  4. No sexual activities – try to respect yourself & others.
  5. No intoxicants – protect and preserve your awareness. This last one includes reading, music, excessive writing or journaling - anything that might enable you to avoid your own direct experience. We strongly encourage a relaxed awareness of the present moment.
